Not Moogle Docs
Create vaults and notes, edit the same note at the same time, link notes and manage participant roles.
Overview
Not Moogle Docs is a University of Zurich Software Engineering Lab team project. It combines Obsidian-style note linking with Google Docs-style collaboration, without depending on Obsidian Sync.
What we built
- Vaults and notes, with owned and shared vaults listed separately.
- A real-time Markdown editor for simultaneous editing.
- Note links written as
[[note_name]], shown in an interactive knowledge graph. - In-app invitations to collaborate on notes and vaults.
App routes
- Landingauthentication
- Vaultsnotes
- Noteseditor
- Settingsinvitations and roles
Results
- Two roles, Owner and Editor, control what each user can view or edit.
- Users can only access notes where they are participants.
- Vaults, notes, editor, graph and permission flows are implemented, as documented in the README.
Roles and access
Each user is assigned one of two roles, Owner or Editor. Users can only access notes where they are participants and can view or edit content according to their role.
